Job summary

STR is seeking a Chief Strategist to drive a cohesive strategy across technical execution, pursuits, customer relationships and accounts. The role spans space-based sensing, RF and EO/IR systems, and multi-domain architectures, with cross-site leadership and direct engagement with DoW/IC customers.

The Chief Strategist will oversee technical marketing, proposal writing, staff mentoring and program execution, ensuring alignment with STR’s national security objectives and customer engagement

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in military and/or intelligence communities.
• Experience with space-based/remote sensing, RF and EO/IR systems.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams on advanced R&D programs.

Responsibilities

• Technical marketing to existing and potential customers.
• Technical proposal development (idea generation, writing, reviewing).
• Creating innovative sensing/counter-sensing and C2 solutions.
• Leading teams to design, develop, implement, test and analyze solutions for national security.
