Job summary

STR is seeking a Chief Strategist to shape STR's strategic direction across sensing, RF/EO/IR systems, and autonomy for national security programs. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, drafting proposals, and aligning technical strategy with customer engagement plans and new program concepts.

Qualifications

• Experience with space-based/remote sensing, RF and EO/IR systems, and related technologies.
• 15+ years of military and/or intelligence community experience.
• Active TS clearance and eligibility for SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Proven track record in writing and winning technical proposals.
• Experience aligning strategy with customer engagement and program concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical marketing and customer engagement across STR.
• Lead technical proposal development from ideation to final review.
• Create innovative sensing and counter-sensing solutions for national security.
• Direct teams to design, develop, test, and analyze solutions for DoD/IC programs.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for designated customers and offices.
