Job summary

STR seeks a Chief Strategist to shape technical execution and pursue customer engagements across multiple sites, including Melbourne, FL. The role integrates marketing, business development, proposal writing, and staff mentoring while guiding sensing and counter-sensing programs for national security customers.

A TS clearance and SCI eligibility are required, with extensive leadership in DoD/IC contexts. Travel to STR and customer locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in military/intelligence communities.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility (U.S. citizen required).
• Proven track record in writing and winning technical proposals.
• Experience with space-based/remote sensing, RF/EO/IR systems, and multi-domain architectures.
• Experience leading technical teams on advanced R&D programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical marketing to existing and potential customers.
• Develop and review technical proposals (idea generation, writing, reviewing).
• Create innovative sensing/counter-sensing and C2 solutions.
• Lead teams to design, develop, implement, test and analyze solutions for national security problems.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for specific customers and offices.
• Travel to STR and customer locations.
