Job summary

Tecovas in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Manager, People Operations & Total Rewards to own our benefits programs, build scalable compensation practices, and oversee HR systems for our multi-state workforce. Reporting to the Senior Director, HR & Recruiting, you’ll translate data into actionable recommendations while preserving the culture that makes Tecovas special.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of HR experience with 3+ years owning benefits or compensation programs
• Renewal experience and ability to build a benefits/cost model
• Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, FLSA, multi-state leave laws
• HRIS administration experience with Paycom, UKG, ADP, Workday or similar
• Experience in a public company or late-stage high-growth company with mature compensation governance

Responsibilities

• Own the benefits program end-to-end, including administration and vendor relations
• Lead annual renewals and open enrollment, including plan design and communications
• Oversee COBRA, nondiscrimination testing, ACA compliance and plan filings
• Own leave and disability policies and vendor relationships, and guide complex cases
• Own the employee handbook and policy updates across states
• Manage HR documentation across the lifecycle with accuracy and confidentiality
• Own hiring, onboarding, and HR compliance for team in Mexico
• Maintain an HR compliance calendar covering filings and notices
• Lead HRIS, data integrity, workflows, and upgrades
• Build and maintain people reporting and transform into insights for leadership
• Manage annual performance review cycle processes with People Strategy & Development
