Job summary

STR, a leading defense tech company, seeks a Chief Strategist to shape strategy across sensing, autonomy and customer engagements. You will coordinate across sites, guide technical marketing, proposal writing and staff mentoring to deliver national-security solutions.

You have 15+ years in military or IC, TS clearance, and a proven record leading multi-discipline teams on space-based sensing and DoW/IC programs, driving innovative architectures and customer success.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in military and/or intelligence communities.
• Active TS clearance with eligibility for SCI clearance.
• Experience across space-based/remote sensing, RF and EO/IR systems.
• Proven track record leading technical teams on advanced R&D programs.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to engage in technical marketing and business development.

Responsibilities

• Technical marketing to customers and opportunities.

• Create innovative sensing solutions and C2 strategies
• Lead teams to design, develop, implement, test and analyze solutions
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers
