Specialty Search Group in Central Florida seeks a Director of Operations for Healthcare Patient Services. This onsite, full-time role leads patient support operations, drives performance, and ensures compliant, high-quality service delivery across programs.

You will optimize staffing, partner with cross-functional teams, and build scalable processes, SOPs, and KPIs to support growth and client expectations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading pharmaceutical patient access, reimbursement support, or complex patient services operations.
• Proven success in healthcare service operations including case management or patient access programs.
• Strong knowledge of benefit verification, prior authorizations, reimbursement support, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy coordination.
• Experience managing operational teams and developing leaders.
• Experience developing SOPs and scalable workflows.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and accountability for patient support services and program activities.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, workflow management, and program performance.
• Evaluate processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Develop staffing models, SOPs, and performance expectations.
• Monitor KPIs, case volumes, turnaround times, and SLAs.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify challenges and implement solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across patient services, reimbursement, and account management.
• Support workforce planning, training, and leadership development.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for corrective action.
• Ensure practices align with procedures, client expectations, and compliance.
• Build internal/external relationships to support service quality.
