Job summary

LifeWay Christian Resources is seeking a Manager of Email & SMS Marketing to lead the strategy and execution across channels and drive measurable results. You will manage a team of strategists and specialists, overseeing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Attentive, with a focus on segmentation, analytics, and regulatory compliance.

The role is remote within the United States with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person gatherings.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience managing email and SMS marketing campaigns on enterprise platforms.
• 3 years of experience leading a marketing team, including hiring and coaching.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and dynamic content creation for on-brand campaigns.
• Data analysis and reporting to translate metrics into strategy.
• Audience segmentation, list management, and CAN-SPAM/GDPR/TCPA knowledge.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Email and SMS Marketing Strategists and Specialists.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategy.
• Oversee campaign creation and deployment using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Attentive.
• Design advanced audience segmentation strategies for personalized messaging.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement in campaign performance.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA regulations.
• Collaborate with content, design, IT, and marketing teams to align strategies.
• Optimize workflows, templates, and automation for timely campaigns.
• Travel to Nashville 2-4 times per year.
