You will drive on-time delivery, transportation cost management, and load efficiency across distribution centers, hubs, stores, and customers.

The role requires 5+ years of transportation leadership, TMS experience, and a track record of initiating improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience managing domestic transportation operations across truckload, LTL, parcel, and linehaul.
• Two+ years of leadership experience with coaching and managing employees.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven track record of improving transportation performance and cost efficiency.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and lead organizational change.

Aufgaben

• Lead daily execution and overall performance of domestic transportation operations.
• Establish schedules, capacity plans, and load-planning activities.
• Partner with DCs, hubs, stores, and providers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop forecasts and analyze performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead reverse-logistics and support store transfers and openings.
• Negotiate carrier contracts and manage onboarding and performance.
• Ensure cost control via invoice audits, rate compliance, and optimization.
• Define business requirements for transportation systems and drive adoption.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement for service, efficiency, and financials.
• Coach and develop staff; manage staffing and training.
