Arhaus is seeking a Manager, Domestic Transportation to lead strategy, planning, and execution of the company’s domestic transportation network, covering distribution centers, hubs, stores, and customers.

The role drives on-time delivery, cost management, and continuous improvement, partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve service and scalability goals. Strong leadership and TMS/Excel proficiency are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience managing domestic transportation operations.
• Two or more years of leadership experience coaching, developing, and managing employees.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams, drive accountability, and lead organizational changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily execution and overall performance of domestic transportation operations, ensuring efficient movement of inventory throughout the network.
• Establish and manage transportation schedules, capacity plans, and load-planning activities to support service and cost objectives.
• Partner with distribution centers, hubs, stores, and transportation providers to ensure on-time delivery performance and effective capacity utilization.
• Develop transportation forecasts and analyze operational performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead reverse-logistics activities, ensuring timely and compliant return processing across hubs and distribution centers.
• Manage transportation requirements for store transfers, new-store openings, and special projects.
• Lead carrier sourcing, contract negotiations, onboarding, performance management, and relationship development.
• Ensure transportation costs are controlled through invoice auditing, rate compliance, and network optimization initiatives.
• Support transportation systems and technology enhancements by defining business requirements and driving user adoption.
• Develop and maintain transportation KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to support decision-making and performance management.
