Job summary

Arhaus seeks an International Transportation Analyst to manage daily import operations, coordinating 7000+ ocean containers, 400 US/Mexico Cross Border Truckload moves and 100+ air shipments annually, while overseeing $30+ million in freight spend.

This role supports a cost-effective, service-centric global supply chain and ensures compliance with international laws and processes. You will collaborate with merchants, vendors and service providers to optimize performance and training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years international logistics experience with ocean carriers, freight forwarders and dray carriers.
• Retail industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily import shipments; ensure timely, cost-efficient booking and shipping.
• Liaise with freight forwarders; manage carrier allocation per origin.
• Maintain communication with drayage partners and DC for container handling to avoid demurrage.
• Produce daily KPI reports on container counts and storage/demurrage charges.
• Monitor exception reports; take action to ensure timely inbound deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and warehouse staff on live inbound schedules.
• Audit international freight, demurrage and detention invoices; support import compliance.
