Job summary

PenAir Federal Credit Union is seeking a VP of Consumer Lending to lead the strategic direction of all consumer lending products and services. You will oversee direct/indirect lending, unsecured, credit card, and related portfolios, focusing on growth, asset quality, and risk management while aligning with executive goals.

Responsibilities include setting multi-year lending strategies, monitoring portfolio performance, and driving process improvements through fintech partnerships and automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years in consumer lending with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of credit policy, risk, and portfolio performance.
• Experience coordinating with executive leadership on lending strategy.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic direction for all consumer lending functions and products.
• Drive growth, profitability, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead automation and fintech partnerships to improve efficiency.
• Develop and mentor consumer lending managers and teams.
• Ensure policy adherence and risk controls across portfolios.
