Job summary

Safe-Federal-Credit-Union is seeking a senior leader to oversee all aspects of the consumer lending function, including policy development, product initiatives, and member experience across lending channels.

The role directly supervises the Consumer Lending Manager and Indirect Lending Representative, and drives sales, origination, and underwriting of consumer loans while coordinating with marketing, AVP, and senior leadership to achieve growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred with at least five years of progressive leadership in a comparable senior role.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with credit union policies, regulatory requirements, and member service standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet credit union-wide sales and service goals for consumer lending.
• Grow and monitor the consumer lending and credit card portfolios.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotions to drive credit card usage and loan growth.
• Approve, track, and process indirect loans in coordination with dealers and staff.
• Supervise underwriting, originations, and asset quality for loan portfolios.
