Job summary

LOC Credit Union seeks an experienced Assistant Vice President of Lending to lead Credit, Consumer, and Real Estate Lending functions and align them with the credit union's strategic goals.

The AVP of Lending focuses on driving loan growth, member engagement, portfolio quality, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and sound lending practices. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Progressive lending leadership experience within a credit union or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of consumer, mortgage/real estate, and credit operations.
• Experience underwriting, lending compliance, risk management, and lending policies and procedures.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing lending teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
• Experience improving processes through technology, automation, and operational efficiencies.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
