Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. seeks a Senior Director, Commercial Excellence to lead strategic execution across the NIRD Business Unit.

The role partners with the SVP and BU Head, driving alignment, capability development, budgeting, and enterprise-wide initiatives to accelerate growth. You will shape the Commercial Excellence roadmap, advance analytics, and oversee launch readiness for new indications and lifecycle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare experience.
• Multifunctional experience in strategy, brand marketing, operations, planning, or excellence.
• Experience supporting specialty or complex therapeutic areas preferred.
• Proven success leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and transformation.
• Experience as strategic advisor or Chief of Staff to senior executives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor and Chief of Staff to the SVP & BU Head, NIR.
• Lead governance, leadership meetings, and strategic planning cycles.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and drive accountability for initiatives.
• Develop executive communications and leadership updates.
