Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) is seeking a Senior Manager of Commercial Strategic Sourcing to lead and manage sourcing for the commercial franchises, including Market Research and Data. You will partner with Business Owners and sourcing teams to maximize value while executing the company’s Sourcing Strategy and category management practices.

The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier negotiations (contracts >$10M), and delivering measurable savings with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Strategic Sourcing within Pharmaceuticals.
• Experience running sourcing projects and interacting with senior clients/vendors.
• Ability to evaluate procurement strategies to maximize value and lower cost.
• Proficiency in launching and managing financial KPIs for Sourcing.
• Knowledge of key financial and operational controls in pharma sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Execute a Sourcing vision and strategy aligned with business needs.
• Manage vendor relationships to enable continuous improvements and innovation.
• Monitor policy compliance and report deviations.
• Drive 10–15% annual savings within in-scope spend areas.
• Negotiate high-value contracts, including several over $10M.
