Job summary

Exelixis Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Supply Chain to lead the development and execution of supply strategies for small molecule and biologics programs, ensuring uninterrupted availability from development through commercial launch.

The role requires extensive experience in CMC interfaces, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional leadership to deliver supply plans for Phase I–III and ISTs, with a focus on creating scalable infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with15+ years of related experience or Master’s with13+ years or PhD with12+ years.
• Experience in drug product manufacturing, analytical testing/QC and packaging to meet FDA guidelines.
• Extensive experience leading clinical supplies management for Phase I–III and ISTs.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for scheduling, labeling, packaging design, randomization and distribution in GMP to support studies.
• Oversee supply forecast modeling (short, medium, long-term) and budget alignment for projects.
• Manage inventories, regulatory filings, and distribution plans across multiple countries.
• Lead or guide teams, ensuring cost, methods and staffing align with goals.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GCP/GLP/GDP and continuous improvement initiatives.
