Job summary

Exelixis in Alameda, CA is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Supply Chain to lead the development and execution of global clinical supply strategies. The role interfaces with CMC to ensure uninterrupted supply from development through commercial launch and oversees labeling, packaging, distribution, and vendor management across multiple studies.

The position requires extensive experience in clinical supplies management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, 15+ years of related experience; or
• Master's, 13+ years; or
• PhD, 12+ years; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets strategy for scheduling, delivery, packaging, labeling, and GMP-compliant distribution of clinical supplies.
• Oversees short-, mid-, and long-term forecast modeling and budget alignment.
• Manages inventories and regulatory filings across countries; ensures batch records and clinical supplies database upkeep.
• Leads vendor strategic sourcing and cross-functional collaboration to support development supply chain.
• Supervises staff and drives cost, methods, and staffing outcomes.
