Job summary

Exelixis Inc. seeks a Senior Program Management Director to guide program strategy across DTR, CMC and development from discovery through NDA/BLA. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop integrated project plans, and ensure timely delivery of milestones in a complex oncology portfolio.

You will partner with executives to manage budgets, governance, and risk, while driving efficient processes and strategic decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive understanding of full drug development process (oncology preferred).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in biotech/pharma (CMC, discovery or development).
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple complex projects across DTR, CMC, and clinical development.
• Develop cross-functional integrated project plans (Gantt charts, timelines).
• Monitor timelines, dependencies and critical path for milestones.
• Assess risks and identify efficiency opportunities to meet TPP.
• Lead cross-functional governance and budget/resource tracking with leadership.
• Establish best practices and drive process improvements across teams.
