Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the role of Associate Director of Career & Professional Development in the Lee Business School. The role focuses on career coaching for graduate and undergraduate students, helping them with path selection, job/internship searches, networking, interviewing, and career planning.

The Associate Director will design workshops, deliver presentations, and build strong relationships with employers to create internship and full-time

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Human Resources Management, Counseling, MBA, or related field from an accredited college or university and 4 to 7 years of experience in university career services, recruitment & hiring, or career advising/coaching.
• Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
• A Master’s degree and 5–7 years of direct work experience in university career services are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career coaching to Lee Business School students to help them select career paths and conduct job and internship searches.
• Design and deliver career development workshops, classroom presentations, and professional programming to enhance long-term career management and employability.
• Act as liaison to employers and corporate partners to foster recruiting relationships and connect students with internships and full-time opportunities.
