Loyola University New Orleans invites applications for an Assistant Director in the Career Development Center. This role leads career coaching efforts, develops programming, and helps advance student success, retention, inclusion, and access.

Serving as a department leader, the Assistant Director supervises Career Coaches, drives data collection and reporting, and collaborates with campus partners to expand experiential learning and employer engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Masters Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of student advising, career coaching, or employer relations.
• Knowledge of career development and student development theory and practice.
• Proven ability to design and present programs/workshops.
• Well-developed organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two career coach staff members and act as first point of contact for recruiting and marketing efforts.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with supervisees to review projects and deadlines and analyze data for reporting.
• Facilitate monthly career coaching meetings and oversee strategic planning for career coaching initiatives.
• Engage in community and employer relations to expand partnerships and opportunities for students.
• Assist in day-to-day operation and participate in professional development activities.
