Job summary

Cal Poly Humboldt is seeking an Associate Vice President, Facilities Management to provide executive leadership for planning, design, construction, maintenance and operations of university facilities and grounds in support of the campus mission.

The incumbent will oversee housing and campus facilities operations and planning units, lead energy and infrastructure initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while driving strategic goals and budget management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, architecture, engineering, business management or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive facilities development, planning, construction, space management, or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership for planning, design, construction, maintenance and operation of university facilities and grounds.
• Oversee capital planning, real estate, energy, fleet management and campus services.
• Lead policy development and implementation for facilities management aligned with the university's strategic plan.
• Direct provisions for budgeting, contracts, and regulatory compliance within Facilities Management.
