Cal Poly Humboldt invites candidates for the role of Associate Vice President, Facilities Management. This executive position leads Facilities Management, including housing, campus maintenance, planning, design, and construction, reporting to the Vice President of Administration & Finance.

The role oversees capital projects, energy programs, and fleet management while ensuring alignment with the university’s strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in planning, architecture, engineering, business management or related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible professional and administrative experience involving facilities development, planning, construction, space management, physical operations or maintenance programs.
• Possession of an advanced degree in a related field is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative leadership and oversight for Housing and Campus Facilities Maintenance Unit within Facilities Management.
• Oversee management of university facilities and capital renewal needs.
• Lead planning, design, construction, and space management activities to support the campus strategic plan.
• Manage budgets and contracts for facilities operations and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with state university policies and climate action goals.
