Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Manager of Network & Cloud Architecture to lead a multi-team organization across Edge, Backbone, Data Center and SDN/Cloud domains. You will set multi-year technical strategy, arbitrate cross-domain tradeoffs, and develop next-gen leaders while partnering with product, hardware and infrastructure leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field is required.
• 12+ years in network engineering/architecture with leadership experience.
• Proven track record scaling network architecture across multi-campus or multi-region environments.
• Deep fluency across edge, backbone, data center fabric and SDN/cloud domains.

Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide architecture strategy across four domains to form a single coherent system.
• Arbitrate cross-domain tradeoffs with company-wide impact and drive production-ready decisions.
• Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, and design review processes.
• Set PoP design, peering, IX participation, and edge compute/caching placement strategy.
• Define long-haul/core network design, BGP, MPLS, and multi-region redundancy posture.
• Lead spine-leaf fabric design, RDMA interconnects, and power/cooling-aware rack design for GPU clusters.
• Steer SDN control plane architecture and Kubernetes networking for customer-facing cloud constructs.
• Champion GitOps, network source-of-truth, and cross-domain outage remediation.
• Collaborate with Product, Hardware, and Infrastructure to align roadmaps and leadership.
