Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategy & Execution to govern large customer programs within the Large Program Leadership (LPL) organization, leading the Large Program Control Tower for centralized visibility and risk management.

You will partner with Sales, Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Services, Finance, and Leadership to align priorities and deliver predictable program health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Analytics, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in program governance, PMO, control tower operations, or related leadership roles.
• Experience building governance models, control towers, risk registers, and escalation processes.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and data analytics (Oracle/Power BI) to support governance insights.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the Large Program Control Tower across priority customer programs, ensuring visibility into schedule, material readiness, engineering, quality, manufacturing, services, logistics, revenue risk, and commitments.
• Define and manage the governance cadence including weekly operating reviews, cross-functional risk reviews, executive reviews, action reviews, and escalation forums.
• Translate executive priorities into structured governance plans with milestones, owners, due dates, escalation paths, and measurable outcomes.
• Maintain dashboards, milestone readiness, risk registers, issue logs, decision logs, action trackers, and leadership summaries.
• Drive early identification, prioritization, and escalation of cross-functional risks and issues affecting customer commitments and program delivery.
• Prepare executive-ready governance materials that condense complex inputs into narratives, heatmaps, and recommendations.
• Standardize governance practices with templates, readiness checkpoints, sponsorship models, and decision-management.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to mature governance maturity and improve executive visibility.
• Develop and improve control tower tools and dashboards for real-time visibility into order changes and supply signals.
• Perform other governance and strategic execution duties as assigned by Large Program Leadership AMER.
