Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Launch Manager to oversee cross-functional alignment and readiness for software offers and product launches. You will coordinate Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales Enablement to deliver launches on plan and ensure excellent customer experiences.

The role requires expert process and project management, ability to manage multiple launches, and strong communication to inform stakeholders of risks and contingency plans. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of related experience in product/launch management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to understand and communicate the big picture while being detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Able to navigate a highly-matrixed organization and gain trust with leaders across multiple layers.
• Highly customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans and track deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies from the cross-functional launch team.
• Identify cross-functional stakeholders and their launch plan tasks/deliverables.
• Ensure all stakeholders understand their needs and commitments for each launch.
• Anticipate issues, explore contingencies, and provide escalation management throughout new product launches.
• Advocate for all stakeholders to ensure they have support to succeed.
• Ensure a strong customer journey by engaging internal stakeholders early for input.
• Determine sufficiency of deliverables directly and indirectly.
• Collaborate with leaders across organizations to synchronize timelines and inform stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Launch Management team to improve tools and processes.
