Job summary

Lennar in the Northern NJ and Southern NY markets seeks a Land Acquisition Manager to identify development opportunities, guide due diligence, and coordinate with the VP of Land and Finance to keep the 5-year plan current.

You will assess land targets, support rezoning efforts, and manage contract reporting while collaborating with brokers, landowners, and in-house teams. A strong real estate background and solid communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Knowledge of real estate and sales/negotiation principles.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential land acquisition targets via tax maps and brokers.
• Facilitate due diligence and schedule activities with VP of Land.
• Participate in weekly land acquisition meetings and update leadership.
• Assist in rezoning meetings with government officials and engineers.
• Maintain inventory reports, contract summaries and market analyses.
• Coordinate with outside counsel for contract approvals.
• Support 5-year planning updates and contract status reporting.
