Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to drive identification and evaluation of land targets in the Virginia Beach, VA market. The role focuses on due diligence, rezoning support, and coordination with leadership to align with the company’s five-year plan.

The position requires 3–5 years in land acquisition, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing complex land deals and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance, or similar field preferred.
• Knowledge of sales/negotiating principles and real estate. 3–5 years in Land Acquisition highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented problem-solver capable of handling complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential land acquisition targets through tax maps and networking.
• Facilitate due diligence and schedule activities for contracted projects.
• Attend weekly land acquisition meetings and update leadership on potential deals.
• Assist in the rezoning process and attend meetings with government officials and engineers.
• Maintain inventory reports, contract summaries, and market analyses.
