Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Labor Relations Manager for a hybrid role covering New England. The position focuses on strategic labor objectives, CBA negotiation, and employee relations across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in labor relations within a unionized, multi-site environment, experience with CBAs, and strong negotiation skills. Willingness to travel up to 40%+ is required, with residency in the supported region preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Business, or Human Resources; JD or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of dedicated labor relations experience in a unionized, multi-site environment including direct responsibility for negotiating CBAs.
• Ability to manage multiple CBAs simultaneously with a track record of cost-competitive outcomes.
• Experience in objective investigations, grievance handling, and arbitration preparation.
• Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement strategic labor objectives aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to educate employees on organized labor issues and company policies.
• Support CBA negotiation and management, including planning and execution.
• Assist in grievance and arbitration processes; represent the company in mediation/arbitration as needed.
• Provide training to management on CBA compliance and labor relations best practices.
• Administer multiple labor agreements concurrently and ensure adherence to terms.
• Offer training and guidance on employee relations and CBA compliance for supervisors.
