Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Holdings, Inc. in Holyoke, MA, is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to serve as a strategic HR leader for multiple facilities and to oversee employee and labor relations, talent management, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance in a 24/7 operation.

The role partners with site leadership and unions to ensure policy consistency, lead bargaining activities, investigations, and coaching, while driving succession planning and leadership development across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant employee relations and labor relations responsibilities.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior leadership to plan staffing, recruiting, and retention.
• Develops policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support HR needs.
• Provide strategic HR leadership across multiple facilities and operating locations.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all sites.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate workforce needs and build relationships with leaders and employees.
• Interpret and administer labor contracts across all locations.
• Partner with leadership and union representatives to resolve workplace issues.
• Lead or support grievance investigations and arbitration preparation.
• Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
• Monitor labor relations trends and minimize employee relations risk.
• Lead complex employee relations investigations and misconduct cases.
• Coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Develop workforce planning strategies and succession planning.
