Transdev in Boston, MA seeks a Labor Relations Manager to support labor relations projects and liaise with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and HR. The role collaborates with outside counsel to ensure consistent language in collective bargaining agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, law, or a related field.
• JD degree preferred.
• Two years of experience handling labor relations or HR issues in a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of labor theories, negotiation, and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor relations program with the General Manager.
• Prepare data for grievance hearings, arbitration, and CB negotiations.
• Interpret collective bargaining agreements to protect employees and company interests.
• Oversee grievance process and responses to complaints and arbitrations.
• Coordinate labor meetings and hearings.
• Attend hearings and negotiations as needed.
• Maintain grievance logs and ensure deadlines are met.
• Recommend LR practices and objectives to leadership.
• Track labor issues and follow up to resolve concerns.
• Handle union information requests and act as liaison.
