Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead the HR functions at our transit client sites. The role emphasizes organizational change, employee relations, talent management, recruiting, training, and employment policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field required.
• 7+ years of HR experience, including in a unionized environment.
• Experience handling employee relations, policy administration and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a true business partner to client management, providing timely HR guidance and solutions.
• Guide management on policies, procedures, laws, and regulatory standards.
• Administer HR programs and assist in developing personnel policies and procedures.
• Monitor employee engagement and performance management, recommending improvements.
• Address employee relations issues promptly and professionally.
• Support MV culture and change initiatives in processes, technology, and structure.
• Provide and coordinate HR training across the workforce.
• Collaborate with Labor Relations to align messaging with unionized staff.
