Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Ops Knowledge Manager to support USSTRATCOM by delivering, operating, and maturing knowledge management capabilities across processes, procedures, and tools. You will design metadata ontologies and ensure secure handling of information on NIPRNet and SIPRNet.

The role emphasizes staff training, change management, and collaboration across stakeholders, requiring 3+ years of KM experience, a TS clearance, and ITIL 4 Foundation certification

Qualifications

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Current/active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start.
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE.
• Experience administering SharePoint (NIPRNet/SIPRNet), including site collections, permissions, workflows, and content types.
• Strong knowledge of knowledge management practices, metadata schemas, taxonomy structures, and content lifecycle processes.
• Understanding of DoW network environments, RMF, DISA STIGs, and secure data‑handling requirements.
• Troubleshooting system issues, managing updates, and supporting collaboration platforms.
• Ability to create documentation, train staff, and support change management activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee KM services to deliver, operate, and maintain KM capabilities for processes, procedures, and tools.
• Develop and manage knowledge content used by the infrastructure operations section.
• Manage, refine, and mature USSTRATCOM’s metadata ontology and integration.
• Assess KM program, identify gaps, and recommend changes.
• Implement staff training on KM principles and practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for development, publishment and implementation of KM policies and procedures.
• Design, manage, and perform admin functions for SharePoint on NIPRNet and SIPRNet, and other collaboration/information sharing tools.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain best practices for collaboration portals.
• Make recommendations for processes and integration of tools to improve automation, collaboration, or data and knowledge processes.
