Job summary

CGS is seeking a Knowledge Manager (KM) – SME to support mission‑critical operations for a federal client in Washington, DC. This full-time, expert‑level role requires leadership in knowledge management, documentation, and retention of information.

You will develop and maintain knowledge systems, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, analyze challenges, and deliver documentation and reports to support mission objectives while driving continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of recognized subject matter expert with exceptional expertise and leadership in the field.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge management systems, repositories, and collaboration tools while ensuring information is documented, accessible, and retained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Analyze operational challenges and recommend improvements.
• Develop documentation, reports, and deliverables supporting mission objectives.
• Support continuous improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency.
