Job summary

Sigmatech seeks a Knowledge Manager III to lead the Joint Data Support (JDS) and Analysis Working Group (AWG) knowledge program. You will oversee content governance, metadata standards, and enterprise task management across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and SAP environments, ensuring a cohesive digital-thread ecosystem.

You will drive intake, triage, publication pipelines, and cross-community dissemination while coordinating collaboration tools and providing executive support to JDS and AWG leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years in relevant KM/administrative roles.
  • Experience across multiple DoD enclaves and TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Proven ability to manage metadata repositories and enterprise knowledge bases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day execution of KM operations for JDS and AWG.
  • Triage networked content across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and SAP environments.
  • Design and maintain standardized knowledge-capture processes.
  • Oversee metadata capture, taxonomy development and content categorization.
  • Manage portals and repositories across multiple enclaves for accessibility.
  • Coordinate deployment of collaboration tools and monitor performance.
  • Support cross-domain metadata brokerage and digital-thread integration.
  • Provide executive and project-management support to leadership.
  • Produce briefings and reports aligned with standards.
  • Drive workflow improvements and quality-control gates.

Job description

We are hiring a Knowledge Manager III to serve as the lead KM professional for the Joint Data Support (JDS) and Analysis Working Group (AWG). This Key Personnel role oversees content governance, multi-enclave workflows, metadata standards, knowledge‑capture processes, and enterprise task management.

You will lead intake, triage, publication pipelines, quality control, and cross‑community dissemination across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and SAP environments. This is the central role in the JDS digital‑thread and knowledge‑ecosystem implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day‑to‑day execution of JDS and AWG knowledge management operations.
  • Conduct daily triage on all networks (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS), assign tasks, and ensure proper classification routing.
  • Design, document, and maintain standardized processes for capturing, validating, and sharing analytic results.
  • Oversee metadata capture, taxonomy development, and content categorization.
  • Lead portal and repository management across multiple enclaves, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Coordinate collaboration tool deployment, performance monitoring, and content currency reviews.
  • Support cross‑domain metadata brokerage and digital‑thread integration.
  • Provide high‑level administrative, executive, and project‑management support to JDS and AWG leadership.
  • Produce briefings, reports, and deliverables aligned with PWS and QASP standards.
  • Drive customer feedback analysis, quality‑control gates, and workflow improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in at least two of the following: Executive‑level administrative support, Content management and strategic communication, Knowledge management at enterprise scale, Database/metadata management, Demonstrated experience with SQL for metadata extraction, analysis, and large repository management.
  • Experience managing content and processes across multiple DoD enclaves.
  • Active TS/SCI.
Desired Skills
  • Experience leading KM teams in high‑tempo analytic environments.
  • Experience with knowledge graphs, taxonomy design, entity extraction, or metadata governance.
  • Experience in workflow automation (Power Automate, ServiceNow, Jira/ADO).
