emarjence LLC is seeking an experienced Transition Support Specialist to provide technical and operational expertise for IT and telecommunications environments. You will assess current systems and help design modernization, migration, and transition strategies.

The role focuses on evaluating services, planning schedules, identifying risks, and coordinating with vendors, leadership, and stakeholders to minimize disruption during technology transitions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in information technology, telecommunications, technology modernization, systems migration, transition management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting IT and/or telecommunications environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical and operational support for IT and telecommunications transition initiatives.
• Assess existing IT and telecommunications environments, services, systems, and products.
• Support the development and execution of modernization, migration, and transition strategies.
• Evaluate current-state environments and assist with defining future-state technology solutions.
• Analyze existing services and products to identify opportunities for modernization, consolidation, migration, or replacement.
• Develop recommendations for IT and telecommunications transition solutions based on technical, operational, financial, and mission requirements.
• Support transition planning, including schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements.
• Assist with developing migration plans and coordinating technology transition activities.
• Support analysis of funding requirements and financial considerations associated with modernization and transition initiatives.
• Coordinate with technical teams, program leadership, vendors, and client stakeholders throughout transition activities.
• Identify transition risks, issues, and dependencies and assist with developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Track transition activities and provide status updates, reports, and briefings to project and program leadership.
• Develop and maintain transition plans, technical documentation, assessments, recommendations, and other project deliverables.
• Support efforts to minimize operational disruption and maintain continuity of services throughout technology migrations and transitions.
