Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking an IT Technical Services Advisor (ITTS1J) in Houston, TX.

The role collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to define vision, design future-state solutions, and support development, migration, and integration efforts across technology domains. Responsibilities include leading product roadmaps, prioritizing portfolio investments, and coaching teams on Agile, DevOps, and design patterns.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or MBA in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
7+ years of experience with technical architecture and systems implementation.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, networking/security fundamentals, and CI/CD pipeline deployment.
Experience with Agile, DevOps practices, and business process engineering (Lean).
Strong background in data architecture, including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
Experience integrating enterprise SaaS solutions, working with authorization tools (e.g., Okta), and implementing event-driven architectures and design patterns.
Active involvement in the technology community and stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative working style with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in consulting environments translating business requirements into technical requirements.
Strong leadership capabilities and passion for technology and continuous improvement.
Able to adapt to new tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledgeable and recognized as a subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities

Define a vision for systems and processes supporting each functional team and lead the design of future-state solutions.
Hands-on support for development, migration and integration of solutions into the business.
Maintain understanding of business goals and communicate needs with IT stakeholders.
Lead the development of product roadmaps in partnership with functional areas.
Create comprehensive solution options with pros/cons and recommend optimal path forward.
Prioritize investments across the portfolio of product backlogs and support project teams with QA guidance.
Coach teams on solution design, patterns and delivery methods (Agile, DevOps, TDD).
Analyze and redesign business processes to reach optimal states.
