Job summary

ENGIE North America in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise IT/OT networking solutions across North America.

The role requires leadership and deep expertise in network architecture, security, and infrastructure management, with the ability to drive complex initiatives and support critical operations. Domestic travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in IT/Networking.
• 5+ years designing and supporting large-scale enterprise and ICS/SCADA networks.
• 5+ years supporting a 1,000-node corporate network environment.
• Industry certifications in networking, cloud, or security (Azure/AWS/Cisco/Fortinet).
• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure and on-prem data centers.
• Expertise in LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, Wi-Fi architectures.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD, Active Directory, Okta, VMware, IaaS/PaaS.
• Onsite work in Houston, TX five days per week.
• Willing to travel domestically up to 40% and overnight trips.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to travel between facilities.
• Commitment to ENGIE ethics and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, deliver, and manage enterprise IT/OT networking solutions across North America.
• Serve as SME on enterprise internetworking technologies and standards.
• Document network details and enforce IT controls.
• Plan and evaluate options for major projects with research-supported recommendations.
• Work onsite in Houston, five days weekly.
• Provide escalation support and monitor network availability.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
