Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking an Application Support Manager based in Houston, TX to lead and optimize production support for a portfolio of custom business applications. You will triage tickets, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with IT, business, and project teams to meet critical SLAs and metrics.

Reporting to the Application Development Director, you will guide a team of developers, drive automation initiatives, and ensure stable operations across cloud-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day stability and performance of the custom build applications.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical production issues.
• Liaise between IT, development teams, business owners, and leadership on impacting production issues.
• Manage the end-to-end incident lifecycle (triage, escalation, communication, resolution).
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of developers to enhance and support systems.
• Create and maintain operational dashboards, KPI reports, and incident trend analyses.
