Job summary

Impact is seeking an experienced IT/security consultant to help clients modernize and secure their environments. You will lead discovery with executive and technical stakeholders, translate findings into actionable roadmaps, and design managed services across infrastructure, cloud, and security disciplines.

You will partner with Sales and delivery teams to ensure feasible, outcome-driven solutions and guide clients through change with clear options and expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT and/or cybersecurity with progression from hands-on to strategy/leadership.
• Ability to lead discovery, translate complexity into recommendations for executive and technical audiences.
• Broad knowledge across core IT domains: networking, Windows/Linux fundamentals, endpoint management, identity, backup/DR.
• Familiar with modern security concepts and operations: EDR/MDR/XDR, email threats, vulnerability management, patch lifecycles, incident response basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with executives and technical stakeholders to map goals, current-state operations, risk tolerance, and constraints.
• Own the technical direction of the Business Transformation Assessment (BTA): coordinate data collection, validate findings, and plan remediation/modernization.
• Translate technical findings into client-ready options, with scope and outcomes for executive and engineering audiences.
• Design managed services across infrastructure, endpoint, cloud, identity, backup/DR, and security for operability and supportability.
• Collaborate with Sales, delivery teams, and partners to validate feasibility and define onboarding/steady-state responsibilities.
• Position and scope SOC-backed security services (MDR/XDR, email security, vulnerability remediation) and align reporting workflows.
