Job summary

Toppan Merrill LLC, a global technology leader in regulatory disclosure, seeks a Procurement Category Manager: Information Technology to develop and lead IT sourcing strategies from home, serving IT, finance, legal and security partners.

You will manage software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecom, cybersecurity, and IT services; negotiate contracts, drive cost savings, and influence senior leaders; 5+ years in IT procurement required; competitive pay and AIP bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in strategic sourcing and category management across IT categories.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex IT contracts and licensing terms.
• Experience partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, Security and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management strategies that align with business goals.
• Analyze spend, market trends, supplier capabilities and requirements to identify opportunities.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations and supplier selections.
• Advise IT leadership on procurement strategies, vendor management and contractual terms.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal and Information Security to align procurement with priorities and compliance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs and SOWs to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Manage supplier relationships and governance to monitor performance and compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with market intelligence and cost projections.
• Identify cost savings, cost avoidance and value creation across the IT spend portfolio.
• Develop category roadmaps and supplier performance metrics.
• Ensure procurement policies and governance are followed throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Prepare executive reports and business cases for senior leadership.
