Job summary

The Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities seeks an IT Operations & Portfolio Manager to oversee operations, governance, and strategic delivery of IT services and initiatives in Columbus. Reporting to the IT Director, this leadership role ensures reliable, cost-effective technology supporting agency goals.

You will lead the IT portfolio, mentor staff, and collaborate with business units to align technology investments with regulatory requirements and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing technology portfolios, operational services, and cross-functional IT initiatives.
• Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, modern applications, networking, cybersecurity, and IT service management frameworks.
• Experience with IT governance, budgeting, vendor management, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT infrastructure, systems, and applications operations.
• Lead portfolio governance and alignment with strategic goals.
• Mentor IT staff and collaborate with department leaders.
• Develop and report on SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and project progress.
• Guide governance policies for data, privacy, and AI usage.
