Job summary

Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager - IT Finance to own a broad portfolio of finance applications, ensuring end-to-end delivery, lifecycle management, and optimization across ERP platforms.

You will partner with Finance for prioritized improvements, manage vendor relationships, and drive governance and compliance across complex systems. The role reports to the Director, IT Finance & Controlling and is based in Foster City, CA, with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years’ experience in finance systems.
• Advanced degree and/or PhD preferred for senior leadership.
• Experience managing finance applications and boundary systems in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of finance applications.
• Own system lifecycle, governance, and vendor coordination.
• Partner with Finance to translate needs into system capabilities.
• Oversee reconciliation and tax/royalty related processes in ERP integrations.
• Drive continuous improvement and adherence to enterprise standards.
