Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is hiring an IT Asset Management Specialist to govern the lifecycle of IT assets across Sun locations from policy to disposition. You will set standards, manage vendors, and lead endpoint configuration and compliance programs enterprise-wide.

The role includes budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration with senior leadership on IT investments, with a focus on enhancing asset control across multiple sites and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (Preferred)
• 4 years of hands-on IT asset management, endpoint administration, or desktop/device support (Required)
• 2 years of hands-on administration with endpoint management platforms such as ManageEngine Endpoint (Required)
• Demonstrated experience managing the full IT asset lifecycle (procurement, deployment, tracking, and disposition)
• Strong understanding of hardware/software inventory management and asset-tracking tools
• Experience supporting acquisitions, dispositions, or multi-site deployments
• Working knowledge of print/copy fleet management (e.g., Konica)
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities with urgency
• Required Certifications/Licensures:(Must have valid driver's license.)
• Preferred Certifications/Licensures:(ITIL Foundation)
• Preferred Certifications/Licensures:(CompTIA A+)

Responsibilities

• Designs, governs, and improves Sun's IT asset management program by setting lifecycle standards, policies, and workflows and resolving exceptions enterprise-wide.
• Selects, directs, and manages third-party deployment providers by evaluating performance, negotiating SLAs, and remedies for non-compliance.
• Owns the configuration and compliance policy for endpoint management platforms, deciding provisioning, enrollment, and compliance standards.
• Owns the budget recommendation for IT hardware/software, forecasting spend, analyzing variances, and advising leadership.
• Sets standards and documentation for IT hardware/software delivery, deployment, and reclamation, and renewals strategy.
• Oversees administration of the MFP fleet and endpoint tooling, delegating/configuring as needed.
• Oversees peripheral/equipment inventory management, stock levels, and replenishment forecasting.
• Resolves escalated Concierge asset issues requiring judgment, serving as the final internal escalation point.
• Maintains IT policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
