Job summary

Citi Belfast seeks a Senior Issue Management Lead – Senior Vice President to drive end-to-end issue remediation across Markets. You will oversee complex remediation portfolios, engage senior stakeholders, and ensure timely, durable control improvements in collaboration with risk, audit and technology teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of risk frameworks, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate cross-functional programs in a hybrid work model with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in 1LoD control functions, audit, operational risk management, or compliance in financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks and execution of effective controls.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive outcomes across large stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Support issue management, including identification, root-cause analysis, remediation, closure, monitoring and escalation.
• Provide oversight over complex remediation portfolios to deliver sustainable control enhancements.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to drive issue resolution and governance across business, risk, compliance, audit and technology partners.
• Promote IA awareness and knowledge of IA methodology across teams.
• Capture lessons learned and develop corrective action plans for timely closure.
