Job summary

Citi is seeking an Issue Management Sr. Group Manager to lead cross‑functional teams in overseeing the end‑to‑end remediation of critical issues. The role focuses on risk governance, robust control programs, and proactive mitigation across Citi's risk segments.

You will drive root cause analyses, coordinate with regulatory bodies, and ensure timely, effective action plans. Strong leadership and communication with senior management are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions.
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
• Excellent knowledge of Citi’s policies and procedures and risk framework.

Responsibilities

• Manages large, potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals by providing leadership and direction through managers.
• Provide Issue Management Lifecycle governance and remediation oversight for our risk segments.
• Proactively identify and analyze potential control gaps and operational risks across Citi, leveraging data analysis to assess impact and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
• Lead Business / Function Quality Control engagement across the full lifecycle of high impact issue remediations.
• Lead review and challenge of potential issue, root cause and determine strategic solution along with risk segment leadership team.
