Job summary

Polsinelli PC is seeking a Business Development and Marketing Specialist to support its Intellectual Property, Life Sciences, and Technology practices. The role collaborates with department leadership and the firm-wide events team to deepen client relationships, raise market visibility, and drive growth across markets.

The position is hybrid in Boston with travel to other offices as needed and requires 4+ years in legal or professional services marketing/BD.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of marketing and/or business development experience in a legal or professional services setting.
• Experience supporting IP/Life Sciences/Technology practices encouraged.
• Strong professionalism and ability to identify market trends.
• Excellent project management and multi-priority handling abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to various offices and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of practice groups, attorneys, client base, and industry focuses to grow relationships and brand awareness.
• Support BD initiatives, programs, events, and materials in partnership with Senior Department Marketing Manager.
• Assist with RFPs and pitch responses; maintain proposal tracking.
• Leverage firm data for client targeting, segmentation, and opportunity analysis.
• Ensure marketing content (web pages, bios, materials) is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate events from proposals to budgets and invitations; support firm-wide events team.
