Job summary

Polsinelli, a leading national law firm, seeks a marketing and business development specialist to support Intellectual Property, Life Sciences and Technology initiatives. You will partner with department leadership and firm-wide teams to deepen client relationships and raise market visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of marketing/business development in a legal or professional services environment; Am Law firm preferred.
• Experience supporting IP, Life Sciences, Technology, and related practices encouraged.
• Strong professionalism and ability to interpret market trends.
• Excellent project management and ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with executives and diverse stakeholders; adaptable to ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel to multiple offices/events.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of practice groups, attorneys, clients, and markets to grow relationships and brand awareness.
• Support development and execution of business development initiatives, programs and events.
• Assist with RFPs and pitch materials; maintain proposal tracking.
• Leverage data for client targeting, segmentation and opportunity analysis.
• Ensure marketing content is accurate and up-to-date across materials and web pages.
• Coordinate and support internal and client-facing events with the events team.
• Draft content for external submissions and thought leadership; collaborate with PR.
• Create and maintain knowledge management reports and experience data.
