Job summary

Sysco Northeast Distribution Center in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Inventory Planning Specialist to manage top-tier replenishment and inventory control. You will ensure PO accuracy, minimize spoilage, and support supply chain efficiencies across warehousing, receiving, and order filling.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory management/purchasing experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution.
• Experience managing 10,000+ SKUs; distributor environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing customer service.
• Manage inventory DSO, aged, obsolete, spoilage, and shrink to goals.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers, and other functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with DPR to drive KPI performance.
• Work with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiencies.
• Assist inbound planning to optimize receiving and warehousing.
• Manage SKU counts and resolve replenishment issues.
• Process POs for pricing/quantity and resolve late/missing POs.
