Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking an Inventory Management professional to drive replenishment strategies, optimize stock levels, and support supply chain efficiencies in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will collaborate with suppliers, merchandising teams, and logistics to maintain target inventory levels, reduce spoilage, and ensure accurate purchase orders. A strong Excel capability and DPR experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Inventory Management/Purchasing.
• Experience in retail, wholesale or distribution environments.
• Inventory/Purchasing experience in a distributor with 10,000+ SKUs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing customer service.
• Manage Inventory DSO, aged, obsolete, spoilage and shrink.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers, and other functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with DPR to drive performance via KPIs.
• Work with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiencies.
• Collaborate with inbound planning to optimize receiving and warehousing.
• Manage SKU count and resolve replenishment issues.
• Process POs for pricing and quantity; ensure timely actions.
