Job summary

Sysco Resources Services, LLC is seeking an Inventory/Purchasing professional to manage supplier inventories, ensure PO accuracy, and minimize spoilage while maintaining service levels.

You will lead replenishment strategies, analyze SKU coverage (2,300–4,000 SKUs), collaborate across teams, and leverage the Manhatten DPR tool dashboards to drive KPI improvements in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inventory management/purchasing experience.
• Experience in retail/wholesale/distribution environment.
• Inventory management experience with 10,000+ SKUs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing customer service.
• Manage Inventory DSO, aged/obsolete inventory, spoilage and shrink.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers and other functions.
• Utilize DPR tool to drive performance via scorecards and KPIs.
• Work with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiency.
• Develop programs with inbound planning to optimize receiving/warehousing.
• Manage SKU count and resolve replenishment issues.
• Execute purchasing of new items and system setups.
• Process Salesforce 360 requests promptly.
• Respond to market conditions per guidelines.
• Understand seasonal trends and commodity dynamics.
